About czemoji [čemodži]

Czemoji is a set of Czech emoticons. It is free to use for everyone and it is possible to use them both on a phone or a computer. There are depicted many Czech phenomenons, culture, habits, stereotypes, politics, etc.

The idea of Czemoji came in 2019 during my master studies in Bratislava AFAD. The original aim was to redesign "classic" emoticons which all of us know from social media. But I missed something in all of the used sets - something special, something ours... that's how the idea of Czemoji came. Original Czemoji from 2019 contained some labels, fairy-tale characters and celebrities from which I did not manage to have permission to use their look.

About me

My name is Soňa Juríková and I am a graphic designer and illustrator based in Prague. I usually work on visual identities, printed materials and books both for kids and adults.

Download czemoji app

Download Czemoji App for your phone here (for Android only). You can use Czemoji stickers in WhatsApp, Messenger and add them to your Instagram stories. If you download this app, it is not necessary to download the following one (in Sticker.ly).

When you add all of the sticker packs to your phone, you will find them in the Google keyboard in Stickers.

Download tutorial - Whatsapp, iMessage

Czemoji works as stickers in WhatsApp and iMessage. First, you have to download one more app: Sticker.ly. Installation of Czemoji is on the telephone but you can also send them on the computer after that.

1. Download app: Sticker.ly here.

2. Open the app. You can sign in, but it is possible to continue without it.

3. Write "czemoji" to the search bar. You will see 12 sticker sets.

4. Click on the first one and click on the green area for adding to WhatsApp and the blue area for iMessage. Click "add".

5. Download all of them. You can also share them with your friends.

(NOTE! Sometimes happens, that you will not see "czemoji02_SLANE JIDLO" set. In that case, write code WTGUT3 into the search bar and you will see them)

USING CZEMOJI

1. Open WhatsApp/iMessage and go to any conversation.

2. Click on the smiley icon in the down left corner. Click on sticker icon down right.

3. You will see all downloaded sets. Send by clicking on a specific emoticon.
4. Now you can use Czemoji also on your computer easily.

download tutorial - Slack

Czemoji work as classic emoticons in Slack. Download them on the computer but after that, you can use them on the phone also.

DOWNLOAD

1. Download Chrome extension: here - Neutral Face Emoji Tool.

2. Download Czemoji pack in png to your computer here.

3. Open Slack on your computer.

4. Open the workspace where you want to upload Czemoji.

5. Click on the name of the workspace in the left corner. Click on "Setting and administration" (or customize) → "Customize _name of your workspace_"

6. "Customize Your Workspace" will open up in the new tab.

7. In the "EMOJI" tab you will purple icon "Bulk Emoji Uploader".

(NOTE! Sometimes happens that you won't see "Bulk Emoji Uploader" immediately. In this case, upload any small picture from your computer as a new custom emoji. Now you can see "Bulk Emoji Uploader" and you can continue.

8. Now you can see the grey area "Drop images here". Drop downloaded pngs. I recommend to do it around after 30 pictures, it is a safer way. Sometimes you can see the notification "Error: Unsuccessful HTTP response" - in this case, refresh the site and repeat the upload. If the error is repeating, log out and log in again...and repeat the upload :)

USING CZEMOJI

1. Open the conversation in Slack.
2. Write colon and the name of what you are looking for, eg. :okurky, :rizek,... (sorry, in Czech only). Czemoji will show up during the writing.

3. OR: Click on the smiley icon.

4. Click on searching and write: czemoji_. You will see all Czemoji.

5. If you are looking for specific emoji, just write it: rohlik, rizek, krava,...

TIP! Czemoji have tags like "vanoce", "leto", "sladke", (Christmas, summer, sweet) etc... write on of tags and you can see all emoticons with the same one.
